Toronto is a modern city with many vibrant neighbourhoods, lots of trees and parks. Many cultures combine to make it a truly unique destination. Visitors can dine in over 5000 restaurants, visit many museums and art galleries, shop for bargains along Queen Street West or visit the beautiful and stately neighbourhoods around the downtown.

See a play in the world's third largest theatre centre. There are seven theatres with world-class musicals and plays. Toronto is home to Canada's National Ballet Company and has its own opera house. For live theatre, there is always something to see. If you enjoy music then Toronto is the place to be with a music scene that spans from rock to jazz to classical - and everything in between.

See a professional hockey, basketball or baseball game. Visit the Toronto Islands in the summer – a little country in the city! Summer in Toronto is festival season- food festivals; cultural festivals and community festivals help make sure you experience the best of Canada's largest city. Every September, the city welcomes movie stars from around the world to the famous Toronto International Film Festival – watch one of the over 600 films or just watch the people on the street. You may just see someone famous!
