LSC Language Studies Canada Vancouver Wins Soccer League

The soccer team from LSC Language Studies Canada Vancouver won the spring soccer tournament and the spring soccer league organized by CISA, the Canadian International Sports Academy.

The spring tournament and league featured 16 teams representing ESL schools in Vancouver. The league ran from April 5th to June 13th. The playoffs were held on June 14th and 15th.

Players from Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Korea all contributed to the LSC team having a perfect 18 and 0 season.

LSC played Columbia College in the league semi-final. The final score was a nail-biting 9-8 for LSC with the final goal scored by Arthur Reis Ferreira with one minute left in regulation time!

The final was played the same evening with LSC defeating Tamwood 9-2 to take the CISA Spring Soccer League Championship.

Special mention to Arthur Reis Ferreira for being named the league's most valuable player and to Angel Monterrubio Ricardez for captaining our winning team.
